Your gift will give disadvantaged young access to inspiring creative facilities, workshops and coaching from dedicated youth workers. Like you, we believe a young person’s background shouldn’t be a barrier to them accessing the creative arts. Through supporting Youth Workers at Future, youth can dance, stay safe, keep fit and make friends whilst trying new sports, joining a team, and training for competitions.
Our Youth Workers are not only passionate about helping youth reach their potential, they are versatile dance teachers, always ready to get youth ready to explore their passion for dance and try diverse styles, from afro beats to K-Pop! With their guidance our dance crew performs at several shows and local festivals. They also their to listen to the youths challenges, supporting them with whatever life throws their way and be positive role models to help them to map out their futures.
Our drama sessions offer Improvisation, Acting for Stage, Script work and Musical Theatre and much more. Your support can unlock future stars, whilst building youths confidence.
Most youths we support live in an area of high deprivation, so would otherwise miss out on the creative opportunities at Future Youth Zone.
Hazel's Story
“When I was around the age of 3 to 5, I developed a passion for performing arts. Years later, I became a young leader inspiring the next generation of young people.
A youth worker in Future called Crystal helped me immensely, not just with my craft as a dancer, but to feel more confident with my skills at the President’s Cup competition. She has a degree in theatre at the Brits School where I am inspired to go to pursue my dream job as a performer.
I feel honoured to be a part of Future. It has made me see the world in a different perspective and inspired me to take every possible opportunity. Being a young leader has made me feel proud that I can inspire the junior members the way Future staff have inspired me.

Venice's Story
“Before joining Future I used to do the same things but on an amateur level. I used to dance but this was just in my living room and with no dancing teacher. My friend told me about the Youth Zone and encouraged me to attend.
The support of friends at Future enabled me to not feel shy. I was overwhelmed with excitement and Future began to feel like a second home.
Future supported me in my confidence and supported my socialising skills. All the staff are really friendly, and all the members too.
By going to Future I have become more friendly and open to talk to people. Thanks to future I have gained a new best friend. Future gives me something to look forward to everyday”
