The strength of our Youth Zone comes from the diversity of the people within our organisation. We strive to ensure that our Youth Zone team reflects the community that we serve, and we value people working together from a range of different backgrounds, and with different experiences, all with a shared passion for boosting the aspirations of young people.
“When I initially started at Future I hadn’t worked with young people with additional needs for such a long time. There was one young person that had quite challenging behaviour and they would just sit by themselves and write on a piece of paper, but I was able to get them out of his comfort zone, getting them to try new things and new ways to have fun creating a happier, more engaging and comfortable environment for them. Being able to provide that security and engagement for young people, I love that!”
